Spacious room with good location

Room spacious and location - why we selected it in the first place for our base and relatively long stay. Pictures shown of the hotel are true. I like the pillow where it's on one side an ordinary type and the other with hollow PE pipe stuffing. The latter I like. Close to a large supermarket (Life) - close to Daikokuchou St - when coming home from a long day you can stop by before reaching at your hotel. Close by Namba St (directly from Kansai) and Daikokuchou St (subway). Although no breakfast included in the room description fresh heated/baked bread of various kind (picture available) and coffee dispenser machine served/available - not to say soft drink and ice cream available too and on the evening some beverages (cheap kind - not that I drank any but hey it's free for those who like/want it!) available.

Room a bit worn out and could use some attention for some quick fix (curtain hangers broken and cheap to replace/fix). The bed a bit small but in general OK. Bathtub could use some anti slippery rubber. Don't understand why no shower curtain/hanger mounted so you can stand up and take your shower without getting the whole place wet.

Clean and on the more spacious end. Convenient and worth the price.

For a Japanese hotel, the room is quite large! They also had a lot of complimentary drink services as well as a morning bread buffet for breakfast included in the cost. Checkin and checkout was easy and they were kind enough to hold our bags for us both before checkin and after checkout. The bed was quite big, everything was clean, perfect for our two night stay. A train station was super close by (maybe 3 min walk) and the express train to Kansai Airport (KIX) was only about a 10-13 min walk away.

The room was a little noisy since it was street side but as a very light sleeper I thought it was mostly fine. There is just one elevator and we were on the 9th floor, so checkout time got a bit crowded but it was not a big deal. We were later warned by some locals that this area is a bit on the seedy end, but "seedy" in Japan is incredibly tame -- mostly it was less fun and had less interesting shops/restaurants than other parts of town.

Relaxing stay in a good value hotel

We did not regret deciding to stay in a quieter location from Dotonburi after walking around that area at night and seeing the crowds. The neighborhood was peaceful with so many conveniences nearby (Family Mart on the ground floor, multiple restaurants and other convenience stores around, nearby metro station). We thought the freebies (bread, drinks, ice cream, alcohol) might be too good to be true, but they were exactly as advertised. Actually, the bread really exceeded expectations. They also allowed outside food to be heated and eaten in the dining hall. The hotel rooms were spacious enough considering the others we looked at online within the same price range.

There's only one elevator to service 10 floors. It wasn't too much of a hassle though since it always seemed to be available whenever we needed to ride it.

Very Good

Big and nice room. Staff were helpful and nice. We used the luggages delivery service and it was smooth. Free ice cream and drinks in the evening.

Maybe the location. It was a bit distant from the very touristic center of Osaka. But if you prefer a calm and quiet area it’s okay.

Staff is friendly and helpful, bes is comfortable and clean

-very important for the smell of cigarette. It will be wonderful experience to get some aroma small. - more menu traditionally such as Ramen or miso soup with tofu in vagan will be great experience.

Biggest room we've stayed in!

Great location and great value for money! Biggest room we have stayed in while in Japan as they're usually notoriously small. This was such a pleasant surprise. Also a family mart right outside the hotel. Train station was a 5 min walk. Only downside was the noisy street outside - could definitely benefit from some better sound proofing.

Very Good

Overall an okay place to stay. Complimentary stuff aint bad. The location is close to metro, otherwise on a car busy street, but close to restaurants.

Even thought somewhat newer, there was some sloppiness in design and the whole look of the place. It looked nicer in the pictures I would prefer it to have indoor hallways, but that is on me. Not a bad place to stay, but I would probably choose something else on my next trip.

Good sized Room . Take your e Walking Shoes

The room was a good size. Having a small lounge for sitting was good. The shower & toilet were seperate which is good. There is a convenience store & shop downstairs so grabbing bits & pieces was a benefit . Breakfast is offered each day which consists of fresh croissants & pastries or make your own waffles. Only issue is they go quickly & some people are rude & pile their plates up . Of an afternoon drinks are offered, self serve. We participated on one evening while waiting for our washing . Smirnoff or soft drinks available. And you can have all day self serve ice cream . All in all a good place to stay. Not a lot of eateries but a few. Is a good 20 -30 minute walk down the bustling streets of Namba & the night life area. So busy but a must exoerience. The shopping streets go for kilometres . If your not up to the walking you need to stay closer

Shower was lovely & hot but wouldn’t stay put on the wall. Had to hand hold the nozzle to shower or it went everywhere. While it was ok for us, the walk to the shopping & restaurants was a distance Staff were non English speaking . Had to use translator . Pleasant but not helpful

Great place, but terrible mattresses

Location is great (close to a train station and several restaurants, and there's a FamilyMart next to the hotel entrance). The building is really nice and clean. They have breakfast (bread and beverages. We just bought some ham and cheese and make sandwiches with them). They provide beverages and ice cream the whole day for free).

The bed mattresses are like rocks, if you sleep in the floor or in the bed you wouln't feel the difference :(. We'd had hard mattresses, but those were another level. We tried to put more blankets, duvets, even clothes to make them softer, but nothing worked. We were sore every single day due to it. It's a shame becacuse the hotel it's really good, but if you cannot rest after a long day of sightseeing, well.....

Affordable and pleasant stay

The location is 1pm away from Osaka Nankai station and Namba area.

It is a quiet area and the hotel is near the fire station, every night you could hear the siren since the hotel is facing the Main Street. It can be quite noisy thou.

It was pleasant, affordable and recommedable to budget travellers who are mostly outside of the hotel all the time.

The property is close to train station (daikokucho subway) and family mart. The room is spacious in comparison to other hotels. I liked the that the sink, bath and comfort room is separated from the bedroom. The staff were exceptional, they allowed us to store our bagggage and use the common room beyond our check out time.

The room requires deep cleaning. Wipe off the dust and vacuum the floor. There were stains on the door and the heater gives off a weird smell, we ended up not using the heater. It will also help if guest can choose when to have their room cleaned.
